The Slovak Republik has introduced a road toll charge for all vehicles over 3.5 metric tons with Law Nr 25/2007. As specified in the regulation of the government of the SR Nr. 350/2007, the road toll will be charged from the 1 January 2010 on motorways, expressways, and certain primary roads. The charges are calculated by kilometre, depending on emission classification, the number of axles and the maximum allowed gross weight of the vehicle.
As a basis Gebrüder Weiss will use the tariff model for general cargo of the University of Žilina. To secure transparency and control these costs are printed as a separate charge line on the invoice.
