Gebrüder Weiss: Home Delivery Teams Earn High Marks
Customer survey: 92.5 percent of respondents are satisfied with furniture and large-appliance deliveries.
Customers in Austria have given positive ratings to the Home Delivery service provided by logistics company Gebrüder Weiss. This is the result of a recent customer survey involving nearly 2,000 respondents. Overall, 92.5 percent of respondents said they were very or somewhat satisfied with the service. The Home Delivery business covers the transportation of bulky goods such as furniture and large household appliances directly to consumers’ homes, including unpacking, installation, and assembly by a delivery team.
The delivery teams themselves play a key role in achieving these high levels of customer satisfaction. A total of 93.5 percent of respondents rated the employees as friendly and professional. At the same time, the survey also identified areas for further improvement. The most frequently mentioned requests were for more precise and narrower delivery windows as well as greater transparency regarding current shipment status.
“The survey confirms the high quality of service provided by our delivery teams. At the same time, it shows us what kind of information customers now expect throughout the delivery process,” says Peter Schafleitner, Member of the Management Board of Gebrüder Weiss. “That is why we are introducing more transparent shipment tracking for Home Delivery. Going forward, recipients will be able to track the status of their delivery more closely in real time, receive notifications via text message or email, and add services such as the removal of old appliances directly when scheduling their delivery.”
About the Customer Survey
On behalf of Gebrüder Weiss, 1,967 recipients of Home Delivery shipments in Austria participated in an online customer survey. All respondents had received a delivery from Gebrüder Weiss between December 2025 and February 2026. The survey was conducted by the Gebrüder Weiss subsidiary dicall – Weiss Logistik Systeme GmbH.
