With Decree No. 20 of March 31, 2025, the Bulgarian government has decided to increase its road toll fees in two steps. The first increase has taken place per April 1, the second adaption is now due to September 1, 2025.
The amount of the kilometer-rates is still based on the number of axles and the Euro class of the vehicle. Bulgarian toll can be paid using OBU, GPS device, or route ticket.
