With the Federal Law Gazette Part II from November 21, 2023, the 331th regulation of the Ministry for climate protection, environment, energy, mobility, innovation and technology on the fixing of toll rates (toll tariff ordinance 2023) comes into effect.
Together with the amended Federal Roads Toll Act 2002, a new basis for calculating tolls was created in order to be able to collect the costs of traffic-related CO2 emissions.
