Dominique Jakovljevic of Gebrüder Weiss Honored with 2026 Women in Supply Chain Forum Award

Jakovljevic recognized as a Trailblazer for global sales leadership and business growth in logistics

Gebrüder Weiss, an international transport and logistics company, announced that Dominique Jakovljevic, director of marketing and key accounts for Gebrüder Weiss North America, has been named a recipient of the 2026 Women in Supply Chain Forum Award by Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics.

The award honors female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship and examples set a foundation for women at all levels of a company's supply chain network. Jakovljevic was honored in the Trailblazers category.

"Dominique's career reflects exactly the kind of global perspective and determination that makes for a true trailblazer," said Mark McCullough, CEO of Gebrüder Weiss North America. "From her early days in air freight operations in Austria and Shanghai to the senior commercial leadership role she holds today, she has built her success on firsthand operational experience and an unwavering commitment to her team and our customers. We are proud to see her recognized for this well-deserved honor."

Jakovljevic's career spans nearly two decades and three continents. After attending business school in Austria, she began her career in air freight operations before serving as a trade lane development manager for Gebrüder Weiss in Shanghai, overseeing one of the most important trade corridors between China and Europe. After relocating to the U.S., she rose through progressively senior commercial roles with Gebrüder Weiss, playing a key role in developing new markets and driving significant new business growth for the company's Atlanta operation.

In her current role, Jakovljevic manages a high-performing sales team across the U.S. and Canada, leads relationship management for key global accounts, and develops strategies to drive new business. She has grown one of the company's largest global accounts, which she originally established, to include both air and sea commitments, while also embedding a more data-driven approach across the sales organization.

"This award isn't just about me. It's a reflection of the mentors, colleagues, and teams who have shaped my journey across three continents," Jakovljevic said. "I hope my path shows other women in this industry that global ambition, career growth, and family can go hand in hand. I became a first-time mother this past year, and balancing that new chapter with my career has only deepened my commitment to leading by example for my team and for the next generation of women in supply chain."
