Air and Sea Freight
- Air freight shipments from Asia to Europe are also likely to experience delays due to restricted airspace. So far, international sea shipments have not experienced any further delays or longer transit times.
Land Transport
- Railway and truck transports to/from and transit through Russia and Belarus are only possible to a limited extent at the moment. Due to increasing capacity restrictions, there are considerable delays and longer transit times.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Shipments to/through Russia and Belarus
- For all rail and truck transports to / through Russia and Belarus Gebrüder Weiss requires a confirmation signed by the customer. With this the shipper confirms that the embargo checks have been carried out and that the goods to be transported do not fall under the restrictive measures.
- Due to the increased risk involved in shipments to/through Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, a declaration of indemnification must be signed by the shipper. A template is available here.
