Wolfgang Niessner, MBA, Chief Executive Officer
Wolfgang Niessner made his MBA in the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. The graduate of the Columbia Senior Executive Programme in New York forms part of the Gebrüder Weiss Board of Management since 1999. Wolfgang Niessner became Chief Executive Officer on January 1st 2005 and is, moreover, in charge of logistics, the overland traffics as well as of marketing and sales.
Mag. Peter Kloiber, Board of Management member
After completing his business studies and working as an assistant at the University of Innsbruck Peter Kloiber started to work in the company development and human resource development of Gebrüder Weiss in 1990. Since 1997 he is member of the Board of Management and is responsible for the areas parcel service, logistics development, consulting, IT services, human resource development and corporate communications.
Mag. Wolfram Senger-Weiss, MBA, Board of Management member
After completing his course of studies at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration Wolfram Senger-Weiss worked as assistant to the Board of Management of Berndorf AG where he participated in establishing an US joint venture. He completed post graduate training at Insead with an MBA before taking over the responsibilities of the corporate controlling area at Gebrüder Weiss in 2002. Since January 1st 2005 Wolfram Senger-Weiss is part of the Board of Management and in
charge of the areas finance, controlling, law, purchasing/
investments as well as M&A.
Mag. (FH) Heinz Senger-Weiss, Board of Management member
Heinz Senger-Weiss studied International Business Relations at the University of Applied Sciences in Eisenstadt. After carrying out different international functions at GW and partner forwarders he was in charge of the business development area at Weiss-Rohlig in Singapore, before he became Regional Managing Director for Air & Sea. Since January 1st 2005 he is member of the Board of Management at GW and in charge of the areas Air & Sea as well as customs.
