1918 to 1968: Difficult Times
1921: Ferdinand Weiss assumes the management of the company in difficult times. Despite a world economic crisis, the company continues on a steady course of expansion with the establishment of branches in Hamburg (1932) and Wels (1941).
1945: Station premises are damaged by bombs, trucks are now seized. New beginnings with supply transports for the population (charitable gifts) and the industry (Marshall Plan aid).
From 1950 onwards: Expansion phase in Austria. New branches are opened in Innsbruck, Graz and Linz to establish a network in the federal states. Start of the West European overland transports.
