The second building phase will be finished by the end of July 2006. GW has invested approximately 18 million Euro in the new Wels-Pernau logistics centre over the past three years.
Since December of last year, the existing logistics terminal with its 12,480 m² of office, handling and warehouse space has gained a new storage hall almost 6,000 m² in size. Enough space to store an additional 20,000 pallets. The investment for the building amounted to 8.7 million Euro.”The location is ideal for transport as it is directly adjacent to an ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways) terminal, just off the Innkreis motorway (A8), and close to the airport, and with its total area of about 125,000 m², there’s still room for growth in the future, both in logistics and in forwarding,” affirms GW Regional Director Reinhold Graßer.
